FAQ

What is Redpork?

Redpork downloads public Reddit videos to your device. It includes the original audio when the video has an audio track.

How do I download a Reddit video?

Copy a public post link, paste it above and select Download video. On the result page, choose a quality and select Download video again to save the file.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Open Redpork in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. Browser downloads usually appear in the Files app on iPhone or the Downloads folder on Android.

Why does a video have no sound?

The preview is muted and may not contain the separate audio track. Check the sound label on the result page: With sound means the downloaded file includes audio. No sound means the original has no audio track; GIFs are also silent.

Which Reddit links can I use?

Use a public reddit.com post link, a redd.it short link or a v.redd.it video link. Reddit share links are also supported when their destination is accessible. Private posts, deleted media and unsupported external video hosts cannot be downloaded.

How do Download and Save / Share differ?

Download saves the file through your browser. On supported phones, Save / Share opens your device’s menu so you can save to Photos or send the file to another app. Tap Prepare file first, wait until it’s ready, then tap Save / Share. This option supports files up to 50 MB.

Where are downloaded videos saved?

Check your browser’s download list to see where it saved the file. On iPhone, look in Files → Downloads. Using Save Video from the sharing menu, when available, saves a video to Photos instead.
